Softwood windows and hardwood doors
The Build - Windows & Doors
Most of the door and window openings were built to accommodate standard "off-the-peg" sizes with the softwood windows and doors fitted coming from a major national supplier.
With hindsight I would have bought some hardwood and glazing cassettes and made the frames myself and built them in as I went (although I would probably have under-estimated the time taken to make them and got myself into trouble!).
Next - Internal Walls >
